Band of Brothers als Blu-Ray-Version

Für viele gilt Band of Brothers als einer der besten Kriegsfilme (bzw. Kriegsfilmserie) die es gibt. Wer mittlerweile schon auf die HD-Medien umgestiegen ist, dürfte sich über folgende Nachricht freuen, die auf tvshowsondvd.com zu lesen ist:

We’ve got an especially patriotic news post for you today, on the 4th of July holiday! A week and a half ago we reported that HBO’s classic mini-series Band of Brothers would be coming to hi-def Blu-ray Disc format later this year, in a tin reminiscent of the 2002 DVD release but enhanced with not only 1080p video and DTS sound, but with new bonus material as well. Now, to celebrate the holiday, we’ve got a nice close-up look at the packaging for you, direct from the studio. It, of course, describes the release in the studio’s own words.
